Your impressions abut the impressions conveyed in this interaction (post #2632) highlight the difference between having knowledge about something and having knowledge and being able to share that knowledge in a lucid yet accessible manner. That is one issue that makes the difference between people who may be knowledgeable about a subject but may not be able to teach that subject for varied reasons. One reason may be incapacity to feel empathy or caring. Another may be lack of teaching skills. Yet another may be limitation in personal knowledge and or attainment.
It is important to realize that conveying information is not the higher goal of being a teacher of the mysteries. The higher goal is being able to impart wisdom in a way that it can be understood and felt and then acted upon. This last aspect requires the cooperation of the student, for no matter how good the teacher and the teaching, there will be no success where the student is unwilling. In the current society fraught with so many distractions and personal predilections, the job is even more difficult. Yet, whatever the situation that the student, teaching and teacher may find themselves in, it is a product of the aryu of all three in the context of the current world, environment, both ecological and cosmic.
Nevertheless, whether the student is able to understand and then be able to act on the teaching, it is the duty of the teacher to be the best possible conduit for the teachings, a continuing challenge for aforesaid reasons. However, in the midst of and through the mayhem of life, due to interactions with one’s own thoughts and feelings and the thoughts and feelings of others, through changing time and space, all souls are to eventually find their way to salvation and enlightenment in partnership with their own created world that the spiritual teacher may be allowed to have input in.
