The boat of the soul is empowered by the same Spirit/force that empowers the boat of Ra that engenders and sustains Creation in its created state (physically manifesting). However, the power behind the boat of the soul is modulated/filtered and sometimes distorted by the aryu of the individual soul. Therefore, if the soul’s conscience is distorted so too will be the movement of life. If the soul’s conscience is enlightened then we call that sagely movement. Thus, the goal of the aspirant is of course to create and ethically and intuitionally enlightened conscience [through living by/with/through] Maat, Djehuty and Heru] that will lead to “smooth sailing” through life and beyond. Of course all, including sages, want to promote harmony and peace in life, but “smooth sailing” here does not mean “free of troubles” but free of egoistic taint in experiencing life regardless of the conditions. This is the goal of the mystery disciplines as related to practical life and beyond.
