A good reflection. In thinking about this issue I recalled studies in modern science and physics that confirm this teaching:
The first law of thermodynamics essentially that energy/matter is neither created nor lost but transformed. If that energy is constantly funneled into egoism it can be sustained virtually indefinitely and the cycle of reincarnation and trials of repeated lives would not stop. If this is understood and applied to taffy shepsy and the teaching of Aset then we are part of that consciousness that controls the energy flow and thus can control it in principle and thereby to our advantage collect it and redirect it to our benefit, etc. This is the underlying idea (not theory) behind the teaching. Now to realize these issues and learn to actually do it all? That is the purpose for the existence of shedy.
