Indeed. It is important for every individual aspirant to take the teaching that is given and then determine what the best application would be in terms of adjusting their personal, home, family, community, work and society environment to best suit their spiritual aspirations. This is done by attending classes to learn the teaching and its application and making incremental changes and adjustments where those are possible and making abrupt changes as soon as possible in areas that are critical to the spiritual evolution. For example, a critical change might be to stop smoking immediately instead of incrementally, etc. Of course, all changes are to be determined in an overall context of the spiritual goal, the capacity of the aspirant and the time available for life to do the spiritual practice and achieve the goal of life.
