Ancient Egypt and Nubia (present day Sudan)
Udja
Very good posting.
ABOUT YOUR STATEMENT:
“We need a Spiritual Preceptor to show us the way. This is important to me. I made the mistake of thinking I would go thru the books like a comic book series. Read one and hurry to the next. I was sadly mistaken. These books contain a lot of info. They contain things that must be investigated and researched. A dictionary is required. I still use Egyptian Yoga vol.1 when writing letters or when need insight on a particular subject.”
ANSWER:
Indeed, this is one of the greatest pitfalls of spiritual aspirants and occurs especially to many who have above average intellectual capacity but with still remaining mental impurities (egoism). Therefore it is also a great achievement when this issues is discovered and confronted and resolved.
ABOUT THE QUESTION:
“How long did you research in preparation to write your 1st book?”
ANSWER:
The research that culminated in the first book “Egyptian Proverbs” was only a year of collecting the proverbs from different sources but the study of the teaching had already ensued for a number of years prior.
ABOUT YOUR STATEMENT:
“The Mysteries have been revealed. All we must do is listen and obey.”
ANSWER:
The term sedjm means listen and obey and this is taken as following (Shems) the teaching to one’s best capacity so it is not to be understood as a tyrannical or despotic force of a wrathful god who will mete out punishment if there is no obedience. It simply means that in order to succeed there needs to be diligent following of the teaching as much as possible.
ABOUT THE QUESTION:
“We know the Ancient Egyptians originated farther south into Africa. Do you feel these teachings came from one source or were they a mixture of thoughts from different parts?”
ANSWER:
The Neterian teaching is a harmonious arrangement of teachings that were developed by the priests and priestesses who populated the area of north-east Africa from Nubia to Kemet and from different regions of that land they developed a teaching that reflects the psycho-spiritual nature of reality using names and terms from the specific teachings developed in different regions that is complementary and which when put together constitute a wholistic and also organic teaching for peoples of different level of capacity and with different preferences as to the form of practice they want to pursue. Some may prefer the wisdom perspective called Aset of the south while others may prefer the metaphysics of Ptah from the north. There is no contradiction and the connections between these are integral to the teaching. So in this context: “it’s all good.”
ABOUT THE QUESTION:
Who decided what glyphs were inscribed in the temples and tombs?
ANSWER:
Our spiritual ancestors, the priests and priestesses, who were inspired by the spirit, by whichever name you prefer (Asar, Amun, Ra, Aset, etc.) who is the source of all inspiration, all wisdom and all power.
