Response to Sebai Maa’s post #4953 attached to original post #4266
I can relate to at times feeling “detached” as Sandra described in her post for lesson 11A. Therefore, I appreciate Sebai Maa’s response that “In the temple of Aset, the goddess asks all aspirants to be close to her and direct their attention to the question of who is the foremost being. So those who are detached from the world can spend time with her…and her wisdom.”
Several years ago, I found myself without close friends for the first time in my life, and I felt very alone and disconnected. People told me I could “force” myself to be more social and develop more connections, but no matter how hard I tried, the friendships did not materialize.
Since then, I have realized that this was probably meant to be. I try to maintain my attention to Aset, and it is bringing me more peace and satisfaction than any friendships ever have.
