I would add the following in reference to the wisdom of good association:
Good association can accelerate the spiritual development but only if the aspirant is ready to accelerate their spiritual development. Another way to think about the essential importance of GA is that it is required for any level of advancement. Think about it, a person needs to associate with a guide in any human endeavor, to learn farming, engineering, healing, etc. So too it is in the spiritual field. Finally, the better the quality of the GA the better and more powerful the possibility for spiritual advancement.
