I resonate with Sebai Maa’s comment that “many, well, most people are thwarted by their emotional dysfunctions, regrets, shames, pains, etc. This occurs due to negative aryu that contain negative feelings from the past. Feelings are more powerful than the intellect in directing the course of life, behavior, and reasoning.”
I know that I do have significant negative feelings that I find difficult to move beyond. I can also see and feel that they are holding me back.
I’m finding it helpful to reflect on Seba Dja’s response to my post for Lesson #10, in which she wrote that both conditioning and aryu are illusory.
