Udja Lindsey,
Re:
Response to Sebai Maa’s Post #3080- Reply to original post #3074 . Like Akua, I appreciate the clarification on what is meant by “rising above the conditioning of the past.” In this society, we tend to see and define ourselves as the product of our genetics and our life experiences; however, the truth is that we are much more than this. I found it especially illuminating when Sebai Maa wrote “…the conditioning itself is illusory and not abiding…therefore the process of Shedy causes the illusory conditioning to be dismantled, thereby allowing the true personality, the higher self, to emerge.
Seba Dja:
Ny…and if “…the conditioning itself is illusory and not abiding…” what does this mean about aryu? That it too is illusory…this is why this too ends when Nehast is attained…because one no longer is holding on to any of the illusions.
These are powerful reflections…that the conditioning, the aryu…is illusory and not abiding! Thus, that which is being given credit for binding one…for constricting one…is illusory!
