Well done assignment. Here I would like to highlight the “Reason for failure on the path”. This is an important issue that all aspirants should be cognizant about as much as possible. In fact they should read the listing at least weekly to see how they have met the challenges with those issue so as not to fall under the delusion that these have been overcome.
“O people of the earth, men and women born and made of the elements, but with the spirit of the Divine within you, rise from your sleep of ignorance! Be sober and thoughtful. Realize that your home is not on the earth but in the Light. Why have you delivered yourselves unto death, having power to partake of immortality? Repent, and change your minds. Depart from the dark light and forsake corruption forever. Prepare to blend your souls with the Eternal Light.”
Many aspirants bury impurities so they are not dealt with but only when there is some worldly stressful challenge do they become surprised of the impurity that was dormant. Another way these issues work is: impurities (negative aryu) that remains deep in the unconscious, that prevents overall advancement and years can go by and people wonder why they have not changed in all that time. Spiritual evolution is a dynamic process and sometimes that requires challenge and not complacency when it comes to dealing with egoism, misconceptions and beliefs closely held, etc. A personality can hold on to egoistic beliefs or attain enlightenment; otherwise it would be like eating at fast food restaurants and also becoming thin and healthy! Following an authentic path, with authentic teacher and becoming an authentic (as opposed to a deluded) aspirant are the solutions to success on the spiritual path.
