I also just completed the reading for lesson 5, pages 51-58. What stood out to me is the serious effort and self-reflection of an aspirant in recognizing our own ignorance, egoistic tendencies, and fetters; and the beauty and preciousness of turning to an authentic teacher and teaching with the understanding that we will be able to attain Nehast and become one with Maat. As light as the feather of an ostrich even though it is quite a large feather. The gravity of our ignorance and egoism is intense, and shows that the relationship of teacher to preceptor and teaching is a form of love that can be very pure, true, ordered, and purposeful indeed.
