What are the main teachings brought out in the audio lecture recording? Explain in your own words.

The main teachings to me brought out in the audio lecture recording are:

Shetaur Neter is the authentic wholistic spiritual path to follow for religion. This practice of religion focuses on all aspects of the person.

In learning this, it helped me to understand as a child growing up, why some folks, say they’re Christians & following Jesus, don’t exhibit Christ like behavior. I never understood this. Shetaur Neter is a true lasting spiritual practice, in fulfilling one’s desire to seek peace and happiness, as oppose to seeking material things in life, which only provides a temporary or unfilled fix.

Another interesting topic was the discussion of Karma or arye, (hope I spelled this correctly). How, at the time of death, one is judged by one’s action while they were living. Creating one’s own destiny, which ultimately becomes your fate. I was also interested in the discussion of being reincarnated back as a higher or lower form on earth.

2-Are you currently implementing the teachings in the book and the lecture? If so, which ones.

As of today, I’m currently practicing the Om Amun Ra Ptah meditation & journaling. I’m trying to discipline myself to meditate daily & journal at least once a week. I have missed a few days. This is something I realize I have to work on.

3- If not then how will you implement the teachings you are not currently practicing, in your life
and spiritual practice?

I’m currently trying to discipline myself to meditate every day & at least write in my journal one a week.

In order to be consistent in mediating, I need to set a time to mediate in the mornings. This shouldn’t be difficult because this is the only mediation I’m doing @ this time. The challenge is for me to go to bed earlier. I usually like to write in my journal after reading or completing a lesson, so I can write down my thoughts & understanding.
