This is a reply acknowledging your feedback. Dua, this has given me needed clarity for my practice of meditation. As the impure mind can give a person false impressions of what they are experiencing, knowing what to expect as my meditation practice continues helps tremendously. Because of my “imagination” and sensitivity to aspects other than the physical in the past I am being extremely careful about my perception and understanding when it comes to altered states. Focus and concentration is difficult for me, rather I should say the concept of having a single focus and single concentration is something I am practicing and becoming more aware of. In our culture the idea of multi-tasking is seen as positive, as I gain better understanding of the teachings this leads toan agitated mind. I am working on developing a higher level of concentration and focus in my daily tasks as well as in my Shedy practice.
