I really like your statement about being meticulous with your actions. I do understand now how important the foundation of Maat is in spiritual life. I used to let guilt from my negative actions torment me but now I use that guilt as a sign that I need to come into harmony with what I believe is true and righteous in my life. When one is in line with Maat no guilt can come from any action as one realizes that the divine is operating through them. I also like the post about having a reactive life. Practice of the disciplines gives you control of thought and action and in controlling your thoughts we begin to realize we are separate from those thoughts thereby reducing that reaction type of mentality and produces a more insightful and detached mind state.
