Indeed I think you got what I intended from the trip in terms of the depth of wisdom that is still reflected in the temple architecture and the iconography as well. The seriousness of what was done there and the attitude that needs to be dominant in a mind that wishes to tread the path of the temple is intense and unrelenting. This aspect of understanding includes the understanding that we do not need to be in ancient Egypt or in Egypt today (though it could be beneficial -if there could be complete privacy away from the present day culture there now). Nevertheless, that iconography, that architecture and that serpent power wisdom can be sufficiently reproduced anywhere albeit requiring much ingenuity, and guile (consider the job done by Horus at his hotel-and I am not referring to the “hotel” parts); the rest is recreated in the mind.
In any case, this is the message,
“It takes a strong disciple to rule over the mountainous thoughts and constantly go to the essence of the meaning; as mental complexity increases, thus will the depth of your decadence and challenge both be revealed.” “It takes a strong disciple to rule over the mountainous thoughts and constantly go to the essence of the meaning; as mental complexity increases, thus will the depth of your decadence and challenge both be revealed.”
And with this for the Level 2 students – you have access to L1 forums and you should have detected a different tone when you receive your replies; a more mature expectation and more advancing insight, which only those who are capable can make use of. And the language of L2 should be more poetic, more overarching and more magnanimous and glorious. And at level 3 more philosophical and intellectual moving towards abstract.
That is ti say, at level 2 you are not expected to be advanced or mature but if you are here you have done certain work that merits exposure to what needs to be known, understood and acted on in order to have a chance of achieving the stated goals. Otherwise it is a play at spirituality, like faith based religions and experiments in new age spirituality.
