Level 1 Lesson 6 Video Assignment: The Great Truths of Shetaut Neter
1. List the important themes.
The three parts of the temple correlate to the three levels of aspirants as well as the three levels of the teachings.
Really thinking about how being ignorant can really lead you to some painful experiences or just a great deal more mental agitation, worry, fears, etc.
The rituals support the myth. The rituals symbolize the resurrection.
Asar took the codified teaching and instituted Shetaut Neter. He created all the rituals necessary to devote yourself to the divine.
Arit means offering and the eye.
The offering is the reconstituted eye of Heru, the eye of inner vision symbolically through the bread and wine
If the ritual is practiced correctly, if your action merges with your understanding, with your devotion then there will be an emergence of wisdom, understanding, there will be an emergence of mysticism, metaphysics.
The reason behind so much conflict and ignorance in the world is because most people are not practicing a full religion or if one is in a full religion and not practicing all three aspects.. One must practice all three levels of religion or you will fail. You will find conflict within yourself as well as with others. We must fully devote ourselves to the divine so that we can eradicate the ignorance.
It’s important to understand that if you stand still the negative aspects of life will catch up with you, it will pull you down. You must move forward and that is what Shetaut Neter is all about.
2. What impressed me the most in the video?
*If your action merges with your understanding, with your devotion then there will be an emergence of wisdom, of understanding there will be an emergence of mysticism, metaphysics and the last part spoken on about it being important to move forward always, to always grow because standing still causes the negative aspects of life to catch up with you.
“If your action merges with your understanding” is very important to me especially as I have been dealing with an issue for some time now and as of late it has came full circle and it is time to make a decision. This has further helped me to decide to press through and keep growing merging my current understanding with practice. I still understand that this is a process but I still fell I should embark on this new part to my practice. I believe in doing so It will help me to get a deeper feeling of righteous action which will surely help to purify my thoughts which will help my mind flow easier to the divine and meditations a lot easier.
