A better way to think of it is they lead to the same result: misconception, rigidity and inflexibility in understanding, manifesting as fanaticism, etc but they reach hat through different mental deficiencies. Blind faith is a deficiency in intellectual capacity and dry intellectualism is a deficiency in healthy feeling (feeling without mental complexes, guilt, fear, ignorance)
The answer is that when there is healthy feeling and healthy thinking -together, then you have sanity, peace and intellectual capacity with spiritual sensitivity – this is the recipe for positive spiritual evolution.
