the Papyrus of Any is indeed a papyrus text but specifically a Pertmheru text – Book of Enlightenment. In the pictures above there is a Pertmheru text when the roll is completely opened-to give an idea of how long they can be. The picture in the middle is when found rolled up. The bottom picture is of Lector priest with feather crown ( Book of the Dead, Egyptian Museum, London, British Museum)
The lector priest performs the readings from the scroll as the ritual takes place.
