How does the Kemetic Yoga counselor help the seeker?
The Kemetic Yoga counselor, through techniques and disciplines, helps the aspirant to rise above the pain they have experienced in the world by turning that energy into developing an attitude of healthy dispassion for the previous pain experienced. As one moves along their path, it is beneficial to have an experienced counselor to not only explain and help the seeker understand their experience, but also to give them guidance on how to move past those experiences that may hinder them in reaching their goal. Having a counselor who has the wisdom and knowledge from their own experience is like a welcome safety net to a seeker who is traversing new territory and experiences.
How should a beginning spiritual aspirant think about the different level of aspirants?
(1) Aspiration – Students instructed on a probationary status and have not experienced inner vision. Those that are seeking, searching and have not found an anchor in the self.
(2) Striving – Students who have attained inner vision and who have experienced a glimpse of cosmic consciousness. Those who have found a glimpse of the self, however, are not firmly rooted in that knowledge.
(3) Established – Students who have UNITED with GOD. Those who are connected and grounded in the knowledge of self.
