Level 1 Lesson 6 Reading 59 -68

The world did not come from nothing, nor is it sustained by nothing

The term “Neterianism” is derived from the name “Shetaut Neter.” Shetaut Neter means the “Hidden Divinity.”

Those who follow the spiritual path of Shetaut Neter are therefore referred to

Four Great Truths
1) God is One and in all things manifesting through the Neteru
2) Unrighteousness brings fetters and these cause ignorance of truth
3) Devotion to God allows the personality to free itself from the fetters
4) The Shedy disciplines are the greatest form of worship of the Divine

The afflictions of Set include: anger, hatred, greed, lust, jealousy, envy, gluttony, dishonesty, hypocrisy, etc.

The term Nafu means freedom to breathe liberation

The four disciplines of Shedy are:

Rekh Shedy (Wisdom), Ari Shedy (Righteous Action and Selfless Service), Uashu (Ushet) Shedy
(Devotion) and Uaa Shedy (Meditation)

How should a spiritual aspirant think about their prospects to achieve the “Great Awakening”?

As a spiritual Aspirant I think of my prospects of achieving enlightenment as positive and achievable in this lifetime. I believe I have the opportunity and that this time I will achieve spiritual enlightenment. I believe that thinking positive is the key. Once I believe in myself and know myself I can accomplish anything. Seba Maa states in lesson 6 video “if you have gotten this point you have already made great strides”. I think about this statement every step I take towards enlightenment.

I believe thanks to Seba Maa and Seba Dja we have been provided with an amazing opportunity to realize the Great Truths. This exposure and perfection of the Shedy disciplines provides us with an great great opportunity achieve the Great awakening

What teaching(s) of the Neterian Creed do you believe in currently, are working on believing, find hard to believe? Why?

I view a creed as an assembly and in order for the assembly to work efficiently the sub parts have to function or be in sequence. Since I view the creed as a “whole’ its challenging for me to only believe parts of if and not the whole.

Through studying and meeting with Priest Ra Tem I can confidently say I believe our Neterian Creed.
