EML1: Lesson 19 – video assignment, African Origins Fiu 2002 Class 25 Part 1 Sema Philosophy/ Aspirant Fedin
– Depiction of people: Naturalistic (presented as they are) vs stylized (idealized for religious purposes)
– Sema is a part of Shetaut Neter, sema is like the engine that makes religion run, without the mystical disciplines the religion is limited
– The Maa Ur n Shetaut Neter are inherent in all the traditions of SN
– Neter Arit (divine offering) leads to Neter Htp (peace offering) they work interchangeably. What is maat offering called?
What impressed me the most:
Sema is the realization, the endpoint of the shedy disciplines, the culmination of all the shedy disciplines is Sema. In my point of view, they are one and the same at different polarization depending of the level of spiritual evolution of the person.
