Level 2 Initiation Temple Asar Lesson 1
Guiding Question: What knowledge and experience with the temple spaces, iconography, and hieroglyphs has been gained from this lesson and how does it feel to grow into the experience of this knowledge?
Response: After spending some time looking at the hieroglyph’s iconography, I felt the expansiveness of the temple when entering. I noticed a lot of the glyphs were repeated on the columns and the walls, which I thought was smart because it helped preserve the teachings throughout the centuries. The greenlight in the main portion reminded me of the ‘green’ aspect of Asar which the aspirant should embody in themselves. I put myself in the position of Royal Personality and took it personally since that is what I’d like to become. The teaching was simple and straight to the point. What stood out was the column for Rameses, When he took in the breath of both masculine and feminine divinities as his own, symbolizing the internal union of himself before walking inside. Overall, it felt like an act of higher awareness to preserve the soul (Asar).
