How should an aspirant think about ego based feelings and how does the action path affect them as an aspirant transforms through time?

An aspirant may still feel entrapped and agitated but in addition to those ego based feelings, he/she has an increased sensitivity to the voice of wisdom within. That is the voice which repeats a hekau, mantra or prayers and reflects on the nature of one’s true essence when the ego wants to tie the mind up with worries and imagination.
As the aspirant engages in the practice of the disciplines of yoga, prayers and hekau more than he/she engages in the egoistic practices, one will notice within a river of peace, faith, security and devotion which will eventually overflow and wash away all ego based emotions from the personality. This is the victory of Heru over Set.
