BEING POSTED ON BEHALF OF SEBAI MAA FEEDBACK FOR POST 21827 OF 06-29-2021 CHAT MTG.
Chant- Om, Amun, Ra, Ptah – Primary chant of Shetaut Neter tradition/Spiritual Practice . All chants arises from this chant because it encompasses the subject, (Amun), mind, (Ra interacts between subject and object) ,object (Ptah) and the Om which all the 3 levels of human experience arise from.
OM -is the symbol of a transcendental/universal sound that is beyond sound that heard by ears or produce with mouth- it cannot be cognized by the mind- metaphor for that which transcend human mental capacity for discernment
Reason myth is recalled prior to meditation – Myth affects intellect and feeling (calms intellect, calm feelings)
Ritualistic Practice – such as taking a shower, burning incense, recalling the myth, brings personality to a meditative state
Khak ab/detachment – since mind is agitated because of desires, time and space issues etc. khak ab is a very important practice to reduce internal or external agitation
Preceptorship – value of preceptor is often not realized because one may not have the capacity to follow the recommendations of the preceptor (the truth) .
Ideal aspirant – is someone that can gain the understanding of the teachings and then they can make a full choice to pursue that understanding of their own volition. Someone that can make the choice to follow truth regardless of what others think (family, friend, government etc.).
GLM myth integrates all 4 aspects of the personality, intellect, will, devotional and right action that leads to discovery of the truth of oneself.
Devotion is a powerful tool for concentrating the mind: where the heart flows, the mind goes.
