Discussion forum Task 1:
The discussion on the Temple of the Soul was very interesting. As a former Christian pastor to learn from the panels that so many things were taken from Kemet was very enlightening. One of the things that was discussed in the lecture was the panel that showed the birth of Heru. In this panel, Aset is being assisted Djehuty and Amun. Heru which represents the higher self is being attended to by Aset, which is wisdom. Djehuty which is the word (logos), is present as well as Amun the hidden spirit or the Holy Spirit. It makes sense to me to understand the mystical meaning of the Panel. The spirit (Amun) coupled with Djehuty (word) and Aset (wisdom) will enable me to put Heru on the throne of of my life (higher self).
This was also true for the Asarian Trinity of Asar-Aset-Heru. Thank your Dr. Ashby. Your teaching has helped me to understand and properly practice the myth so that I will be led to spiritual enlightenment. In the christian teaching I was only getting the myth, which I falsley understood to be literal, and the ritual. Now I understand the myth, ritual, and the mystical.
